Bobo's Photos
|
Photography has been a main part of both of our lives since even before we met. My wife's mother Betty is the one who named our Studio. When it became apparent that we were going to make our livelong love of photography into our family business, she christened it Bobo's Photos and the name stuck. It seems like an appropriate name for what we do. Each photograph we take is like taking a photo of one of our own family, therefore Bobo's Photos. We truly enjoy each and every photo shoot that we do, whether it is a Wedding, a child's portrait or even making photographs for a business for advertising purposes. Our motto is "We love our work, and it shows"! Always striving to improve our methods and techniques we have taken classes with some of the most prominent photographers in the business, such as Monty Zucker and Clay Blackburn. We are always open to new ideas. Many Brides wish to know how we work. The answer is plain and simple: however you want us to. If you want to take all your photographs before the wedding that is fine with us. If you want to take some before and some after the ceremony or all afterwards, that is fine also. If you want the more traditional posed wedding photography we can do that; if you want more of a photojournalistic approach, we can do that too. Most weddings tend to be a mixture of both. Our picture list ensures that you get the photographs that you really want. Not some photographer's idea of what you what. The package that you choose determines how many pictures we take, not what we take. You determine that. Our packages are varied in size to accommodate a variety of needs. A first time Bride will usually want more pictures that a Bride getting married for the second time. Everyone has their preferences and we make an effort to meet your personnel needs. We can even make changes to our packages if need be. Some Brides want to forgo the Engagement session and use a photograph that they already have. In such cases we use the film allotted for the Engagement session at the wedding instead. We even work at our home to ensure that we are available at times that are convenient for you. Weekends and evenings are when most people prefer to schedule appointments. One of the rooms in our home is converted into a full photography studio, one into a dressing room, one into an office, and one is even converted into a full darkroom. We like to do business in our living room for the personal touch it gives. You have enough stress dealing with other wedding preparations. We want you to feel comfortable in our home and at ease with us. Working at home also allows us to keep our prices down and the savings get passed on to you. There are here many options to where your photograph will be taken. Location photography is very popular. We are blessed with many beautiful locations in our area; Berry College, Oakhill Museum and Hightower Falls, just to name a few. Our home studio is small but big enough for most jobs. People also like to use their own homes and gardens. We even travel out of county if need be for a small charge. We have done weddings all over the Northwest area, from Atlanta to Chattanooga, and in Northeast Alabama. Now for some information about our equipment and materials. We don't scrimp in this area. Only the best will do. Bronica medium format cameras provide the backbone of our professional camera equipment. Medium format provides the large negatives essential for beautiful photographs and enlargements. We carry duplicate equipment to each function to ensure no problems. Digital cameras round out our list of equipment. Spontaneous moments can be captured easily during the day with one of our smaller unobtrusive digital cameras. Working with digital allows us to create one-of-a-kind montages for you. By selectively coloring we can create very unique photographs. The cake photograph on our Welcome page is an example of this. We are proud to be members of the Kodak Professional Community and use only the best Kodak products. Kodak Professional photographers are at the top of their game and have access to a variety of Kodak's resources. Our film processing and finishing are done in some of the best photography labs in the nation. We offer attractive albums from Topflight, Procraft, and Renaissance. Other brands can be purchased if desired. For more information please contact our
